Tony Shooshani Collection heads to Auction
Gooding and Company recently announced that their Scottsdale auction shall be headlined by the incredible Ferrari collection of Tony Shooshani. The two day auction, which takes place at the end of January, will once again boast an incomparable array of cars on offer and will certainly see this collection of eight Ferraris in the right company.
The Tony Shooshani collection presents a superb assortment of Ferraris that spans many of the great eras – starting in the 60’s with the beautiful Ferrari 250 GT Series II Cabriolet and moving all the way through to the legendary 2003 Ferrari Enzo. Tony Shooshani is a World renowned Ferrari collector whose passion for the Prancing Horse has led to a very close relationship with near all divisions within the Italian marque. During his time collecting these beautiful cars, Tony has ensured that whilst they’re all painstakingly cared for, they’re also enjoyed in the way that they were created to be; as such Tony has participated in many rallies across the World.
Notable cars within Tony Shooshani’s eight Ferrari collection are the following:
• 1995 Ferrari F50 – This particular Ferrari F50 was used for Ferrari’s promotional materials and events and is the exact example that introduced the F50 at the Geneva Auto Museum in 1995.
• 1964 Ferrari 250 GT Lusso – This perfectly restored 250 GT Lusso has been documented throughout its life by Ferrari historian Marcel Massini and earned 1st in class at the 2014 Arizona Concours.
• 1984 Ferrari 512 BBi – Formerly owned and signed by legendary racer A.J.Foyt, this beautiful example of a 512 BBi comes in a striking colour combination of Grigio Argento over Bordeaux interior.
These stunning examples of three legendary Ferraris are also joined by a 1990 Ferrari F40, 2003 Ferrari Enzo, 1960 Ferrari 250 GT Series II Cabriolet, 1969 Ferrari Dino 206 GT and a 1988 Ferrari 328 GTS.
